• Guests must carry their Emirates ID or passport when coming for the activity.
• As it is a New Year’s Party, guests can wear anything of their choice. But avoid wearing anything indecent.
• Everyone must reach the pickup point before the mentioned time. The rush remains high in the evening on NYE.
• Kindly don’t bring outside food or beverages to the cruise.
• Guardians must take full responsibility and look after their kids during the activity.
• Transfers are unavailable on the eve of the NY. Hence, you must take the public transport or book private transfers from us at a minimal charge.

• It is 55 ft / 17 m long & you can invite up to 100 guests. Please note that the boat doesn’t accommodate more than that.
• The timing for the boat is fixed from 9:00 PM until 3:00 AM. Late arrivals may cause you to miss the experience because the boat follows a strict schedule.
• You can enjoy the fireworks view around JBR, Burj Al Arab & Atlantis at midnight.
• You will have onboard entertainment but the premium catering options and beverage packages are optional additions.

• All bookings you make are non-refundable
• No cancellations or rescheduling are accepted post confirmation

• Kids over 11 years old are charged the adult rate.
• Children up to 3 years old can join the party for free.

Kindly note that the organization reserves the right to cancel the charter or event in case of the following circumstances:

1. Unfavorable weather or sea conditions

In cases of circumstances like bad weather or sea conditions that present a safety risk, the organizer or captain may delay, reschedule, or cancel the sailing.

2. Technical/operational issues

For everyone’s safety, the organizer may cancel the booking in case of mechanical failure, safety issues, or operational problems.

3. Requirements not met, only if applicable

The New Year Cruise event requires a minimum number of participants. If the requirement is not met by the deadline, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the event.

4. Force Majeure Events (Natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or major emergencies)

These events are not in the organizer’s control. Thus, it may lead to cancellation without liability.

5. No additional compensation

The organizer will only refund the paid amount. Any additional expenses like travel, accommodation, or third-party bookings by the guests are not the responsibility of the organizer.

All the guests will be notified as soon as possible via email, SMS/phone, or the booking platform where the reservation is made.

6. Liability limitation

The Organizer’s responsibility is limited solely to returning the charter fee paid by the guests. They cannot be held liable for weather conditions or for any missed scheduled experiences, including fireworks, that may be affected by circumstances beyond their control.

How many people can join the celebration?

The New Year Mercury has space for up to 100 guests and provides enough room for a larger gathering. As the houseboat is 55 feet or 17m long, you can expect enough space to move freely aboard since it is exclusively for private bookings.

Can we take photos with New Year fireworks?

Although the charter doesn’t have its own fireworks, you will witness fireworks displays around JBR, Burj Al Arab, and Atlantis. The sailing is smooth enough that you can take memorable pictures of and with them.

Can we add food and drinks to the booking?

Definitely! We have premium catering and beverage packages as optional additions available when booking the houseboat. You can select them according to your requirements and please let the operators know about any allergies or food restrictions beforehand, so they have time to prepare accordingly.

What are the boarding and sailing times?

The boat rental runs from 9:00 PM on December 31^st, 2026 until 3:00 AM on January 1st, 2027. The final boarding time will be notified to the guests via email or SMS. We will advise everyone to arrive at least 30 minutes before the boarding time to ensure smooth boarding and avoid being late.

Can we change the sailing time?

No, the sailing hours for the Mercury houseboat are fixed and cannot be altered under any circumstances.
